Math Field Day, a chance to show off your computational skills!

Bassett Unified completed it's annual Math Field day this past week with a district wide competition. This annual event, run by site teachers and coordinated by Educational Services, is a part of a bigger county-wide competition. Our winners will be representing Bassett Unified School District at the Los Angeles County Math Field Day competition at Glendora High School on April 25^th, 2020. 

LACOE’s Math Field Day is designed as an enrichment activity to promote mathematical reasoning, teamwork and a balanced mathematics curriculum for all students in upper elementary and middle school. Students demonstrate their math knowledge through competition in the following elements: computational and procedural skill, conceptual understanding and problem-solving.
