“It’s exciting to think about what is possible, what could be my future,” Lopez said. “The career
fair gave me a lot of information, a lot to think about, and I am excited.”

Refreshments were served to vendors and guests.
Bassett Adult School principal Albert Michel says that he wants to host two career fairs a year
instead of just one.

“The career fair is that extra push,” said Michel. “Our students can connect with college
representatives, with professionals that can offer internships as well as full-time paid
positions—it is an important event for our community.”
