NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
OF BASSETT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT TO CONSIDER GRANTING EASEMENTS TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON FOR THE CHARGE READY CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE AND REBATE PROGRAMS AT BASSETT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, SUNKIST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND VAN WIG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

Please save the date for our second annual Parent Academy, to be held at Torch Middle School on October 26, 2024. Program starting at 8am, childcare will be provided.

The Regular Board meeting of the Board of Education scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 5:30pm has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Torch Watanabe Center at 5:30 p.m.

Pursuant to Education Code (EC) Section 60119 the District is required
to hold an annual public hearing and adopt a resolution stating whether
each pupil in the district has sufficient textbooks or instructional
materials in specified subjects. The Bassett Unified School District
will hold a public hearing on Instructional Materials at the regular
meeting of the Board of Education. September 12, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.

The Board of Education of the Bassett Unified School District will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to California Education Code,
§52062, at a Board Meeting regarding the: Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Tuesday June 11, 2024 in the Bassett Unified District Office Board Room at 5:30pm.

Each year, California recognizes the third full week of May as Classified School Employee Week. During this week, we celebrate and salute the important contributions of our classified employees, who "make a difference!"
